The Girl Behind the Camera

Hey there! I'm Hollie, but I'll also respond to Holl, Holls, Hod, Bug, Best, Ollie... the list of nicknames goes on & on-- they're my favorite. My love for photography started back when I was on the yearbook staff in high school, and I have been doing it professionally now for 8 years. A little background about me: I'm the middle child of three, in between my older sister and my younger brother. Middle child syndrome is SO real-- can I get an amen from my fellow middle children out there?! But in all seriousness, my siblings are truly my best friends & one of my biggest blessings. I married my best friend & the love of my life on 10.19.23. My sister made me an aunt to my four gorgeous, little nieces. They are my absolute whole world! I'm a huge family person, so you will often catch me spending my free time with them. Making memories is what I live for & I will choose moments over merchandise any day. I love to travel, but I've only stepped out of the country to Cancun one time. Europe is on my bucket list for sure though!

I love allllll animals, but in the pet world, I'm most definitely a dog person. I WILL own a goldendoodle someday, I promise you! But don't get me wrong, I totally believe in rescuing pups (all furry friends actually) too! My favorite color is orange & apparently it's the happiest color, in case you didn't know! I love almost any kind of pasta, & I can't survive a day without coffee. Floral print is basically my entire wardrobe. I love elephants, tigers, and otters. My heart belongs to Jesus first & foremost. Naps are amazing, my socks never match, I live for sunsets, & sunflowers are my jam. I believe in soulmates, and treating others the way you'd like to be treated. A smile goes a long way, so I choose to always wear one no matter what.

Photography is my passion. I've always had a love for snapping a photo of anything & everything. I'm notorious for annoying my family with wanting photos no matter where we are or what we are doing, but I always remind them that one day they will thank me for capturing all of these memories for us to look back on when we are older. A picture really is worth a thousand words and beyond. It holds that moment still forever & can give us back what our minds might fail us at remembering. I cherish the art behind it & it truly gives me so much joy to hang out with all of you and then see your reaction to the finished product.
